The charts display the number of registration of foreigner and inhabitant pupils who were integrated into the Australian further education system over a decade. Overall, it is evident that the total number of college attendees increased dramatically regardless of their homelands over the period under consideration. Additionally, the number commencing of overseas students also experienced a sharp rise, compared to the local students, which increased slightly over the time span.

To begin, in terms of overseas students, the number of total students skyrocketed during the ten years, increasing over fourfold from 20,000 to over 80,000 by 2010. Commencing, however, despite a stagnation between 2009 and 2010, rose steadily from under 20,000 to just over 40,000 by 2010.

The number of local students saw a substantial growth from 400,000 to 600,000 during the first seven years, before plateaued over the remaining four years. Commencing, on the other hand, despite fluctuation, increased insignificantly from under the 200,000 to just under of the number.
