We can find out the employment of six sectors in Freedonia by sex in 1975 and 1995.

The surprising fact shown in the graph of 1975 is the number of male workers overpasses the number of female workers in every sector. In 1975, the Public sector(non-defensive) was the most popular for both sexes. On the other hand, the least popular one was the Public sector(defensive). In 1995, the Public sector(non-defensive) was still the most popular one for men. However, not for women. The sector women most preferred was Wholesale & retail trade. Furthermore, there were two sectors which the number of female workers outweighed that of male workers, which are Communications and Wholesale & retail trade. Especially in Communications, the number of women almost doubled that of men. Also, there was a little gap in the field of Finance/banking.

In the sector of Manufacturing, there was little change in the employment between 1975 and 1995. However, in Communications, the number of women doubled during the 20 years, whereas the number of men almost stayed still. In the Finance/banking field, employment in both genders increased, and the growth of female workers was remarkable. The Public sector(non-defence), which was at the top of the list in 1975, almost remained constant, with little drop in female workers. Lastly, in the Public sector (defence), employment of male workers decreased, while that of females tripled.
