The graphs illustrate the numbers of male and female workers in 1975 and 1995 in several employment sectors of the republic of Freedonia. There are six kinds of sectors ( manufacturing, communications, finance/ banking, wholesale & retail trade, public sector (non – defence) and public sector (defence).
Overall, the rate of employment in public sector (non – defence) for both gender is high meanwhile the least one goes to public sector (defence). It can be seen that the majority of employees in all sectors are men.
Based on the illustration, the number of women workers in communications exceeded 500 thousand from 200 thousand whereas the number of men workers remain unchanged. Besides that, the rate of women employed in finance/ banking increase from 100 thousand to more than 400 thousand, which is triple the number. Again, the number of men employer in this sector remain constant. The female employees of wholesale & retail trader went over almost 800 thousand in 1995 from 500 thousand people respectively and no changes in men. In public sector (defence), the female workers exceeded 100 thousand while the male workers had a slight drop to exact 200 thousand. Finally, both manufacturing and public sector (non – defence) remain their number of employees in both gender for 20 years.
