However, reverse is true for news. Notably, people who are passionate about watching films almost remain unchanged among adults from 19 to 23 years old.
Looking at the details, children in their 10 to 15 years old, sports shows and cartoons are more common, with both of them at 26%. As the ages become higher, they become less common, with 14% and 15% respectively. Eventually, therefore, sport programs account for only 4% among the age group (21 to 25)
The difference in the other 3 TV programs is less significant in the youngest and oldest age cohorts. In the former, the proportion of drama, films, and news make up from 23%, 19%, 6%, to later with 22%, 21% respectively. In contrast, despite the less viewers of news share as most small share, it amounts to larger respective shares of 18% and staggering 33% in the other age groups.
Furthermore, the percentage of cartoon programs’ viewership is half as much as that of drama among 16 to 20 years old, and it witness a gradual rise by 20% in the last age group.
