Overall, sport programmes and cartoons were the most favored by people aged 10-15, while dramas were the most preferred by those aged 16-20. Notably, viewers in the 21-25 age group were most likely to watch news.
When it comes to the 10-15 age range, people were most likely to watch sport programmes and cartoons, both at 26%. Next came drama viewers, accounting for the second largest share, at 23%. Also, over twice as many people watched films as those watched news, at 19% versus 6%.
Concerning the 16-20 age band, viewers showed the largest rate of watching dramas, constituting 30% of viewership, which was followed by the figure for film viewers, at 23%. Additionally, watching news was the third most popular with people aged 16-20, at 18%. People in this bracket were least likely to watch sport programmes and cartoons, at 14% and 15%, correspondingly.
In terms of the 21-25 age group, watching news was the most popular, holding up 33%. This was followed by the figures for drama and film, at 22% and 21%, respectively. People watching cartoons outnumbered those watching sport programmes by a large margin, at 20% against 4%.
