The pie charts demonstrate the percentage of people of varying ages who watched 5 types of TV programms.
Overall, It is clear that there are significant variations in viewership preference, with only film and drama categories staying relatively popular all across the given ages.
News and films are the least favored by 10 to 15 years olds. In contrast, other programs, incorporating cartoon, sports and drama are highly preferred by them, illustrating that young people like more active and fascinating content. However, individuals aged 16 to 20 begin to change their interests towards informative shows and other TV genres, like films and news, start to get significant traction. Despite the fact that sports shows and cartoons lose the engagement rate among viewers, at 14% and 15%, respectively, dramas kept being favored by the audience.
Adults, on the other hand, almost entirely lose fascination in sports shows, them accounting for only 4% of viewership. Conversely, least preffered by the other age groups, news are the first-ranked category among 21 to 25 year-olds, constituting 33% of the total number of viewers. Interestingly, other TV programs, like cartoons, dramas, and films, hold similar shares of viewership, at around 20% each.
