The graph shows the average amount of time per day spent on popular activities such as, reading and listening to music from 15-55 age groups in New Zealand.

Overall, it can be seen that, in the beginning age groups are spent more time for listening to music than reading for pleasure. However the older age groups spent more time for reading per day. Another interesting point is that, reading and listening activities maintain the same level in the older age.

In details, young people especially 15-24 age groups are spent average 20 minutes for reading every day. However when as people get older, their results also increased. Middle aged groups 25-34 and 35-44 were spent 40 minutes a day and they increase of 20 minutes than young age groups. But 55+ age groups spent more than 1 hour for reading every day.

On the other hand, 15-24 age groups want to spent 80minutes for listening to music than reading activity. But from 25-34 to 35-44 age groups slightly decreased around 40 minutes.
