The line chart presents the number of attendees in five distinctive activities – film club, martial arts, amateur dramatics, table tennis, and musical performances at a social centre in Melbourne from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, the quantity of participants in all categories witnessed stable and upward tendencies, except to amateur dramatics, experiencing a sharp drop at the end of the survey.
As is shown in the graph, there were 16 attendees joining in table tennis in 2000, and that number slightly increased to 20 in the next 10 years before dramatically jumping to 50 by 2020. Similarly, since 2005, people started to take part in musical performances from 10 individuals in 2010 to 15 participants at the end of the surveyed time. On the contrary, despite drawing around 25 individuals at first, the number of attendees in amateur dramatics plummeted significantly from 30 people by 2005 to only 5 left in 2020.
In terms of less dynamic categories, the total of individuals participating in film club maintained the peaks across the survey; it commenced at 63 people in 2000 and then gently decreased by 3 individuals before terminating at 63 attendees in 2020. Likewise, the figure for martial arts fluctuated between 37 and 31 participants over the time of the survey and located at 35 at the end.
