The graph illustrates the number of participants in five different activities at the Melbourne Social Center from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, the film club had the most club members, showing a small decline in active participants in the first decade and then steadily increasing onward. By contrast, amateur dramatics club had approximately two times less participants, the number of which have decreased over the two decades, making it the least attended club in the last five years. Meanwhile, the musical performances activities, which started to gain members in 2005, demonstrated a steady growth and surpassed the drama club in the last five years.
In 2000, the film club had approximately 62 active members compared with around 36 participants of martial arts club. About 26 and 16 people were members of drama and table tennis club respectively. The number of participants in amateur dramatics activity rose to just about 28 members before gradually falling to around 8 people by the end of the period. Table tennis followed the opposite trend, increasing consistently from roughly 16 members to almost 52, placing a second place among the most attended activities. The musical performances were not as popular as other four activities having gained first members only in 2005. Since then, they demonstrated steady growth along with martial arts activity.
