The given graphic presents statistics about crime in the United Kingdom last year. The line graph illustrates the connection between crime and age and the pie chart shows the percentage of four diffent crimes.
Overall, it can be observed that the most number of crimes were committed by teenagers and young adults. Meanwhile the pie chart reveals that violent crimes were the most common type crime.
It is evident when looking at the line graph that the vast majority of teenagers and people and their early twenies, were the most likely to commit crimes in comparison with childrens or older people. From the year of twelve the figure witnessed a dramatically rise before hit a peak of 800000 crimes committed by twenty years old individuals. This then fell significantly and levelled off at 28 years old and continued its decreasing with age.
The pie chart shows that naerly the half of crimes committed were related to violent. Followed for property crimes and drugs with similar percentages at 23% and 22% respectively. The remaining type of crime was related with public order at just under 10%.
