The graph illustrates trends in the exports of rubber ducks to the EU, USA, and UK over the five-year period between 2013 and 2017.
Generally, the exports to both the EU and UK rose significantly. The former slumped after 2014, while the latter experienced a considerable increase. The figure representing the exports to the USA remained at the lowest level over the given period.
In 2013, the highest number of rubber ducks was exported to the EU at just under 30,000, almost equal to the amount of exports to the UK and USA combined at 20,000 and marginally lower than 10,000, respectively. In 2014, there was growth in the exports to the EU and USA with respective gains of about 3,000 and 5,000. On the other hand, the export to the UK dropped by a small margin.
By 2015, as the shipments to the EU tumbled, the figure for the UK witnessed a sharp surge and overtook it, reaching 25,000. In contrast, the line for the USA maintained the same level. From 2015 to 2017, the exported goods to the UK got overtaken by those to the EU, and both of them continued to grow significantly, reaching a peak at 40,000 (the EU) and a fraction below 40,000 (the UK). In comparison, the downturn for the exports to the USA began after 2015 and started to fall sharply one year later, reaching an all-time low until the end of the period.
