The line graph above demonstrates the average visitor count of a museum in the UK for the summer and winter seasons in 2023.
Overall, it is quite clear that people tend to visit the museum more in the summer rather than in the winter. Additionally, although the opening hours are the same in both seasons, the closing hour changes between seasons.
With a closer look at the summer line of the graph, in the first hours of the day there is a surge in the number of visitors until 11:00, reaching 1,300 visitors; then a slower increase can be seen until 12:00, reaching a peak of 1,500 visitors. After 12:00, a decreasing trend starts to form, and at 16:00, a plunge appears.
Taking another look at the graph for the winter line, we can see a steady increase until 10:00, nearly reaching 600 visitors, followed by a trend of fluctuation until 12:00. Eventually, the number of visitors decreases by 14:30.
