The line chart illustrates the consumption in grams of fast food in Britain during the period of time from 1970 to 1990. The information focuses maily on three different types of junk food: hamburgers, fish and chips and lastly pizza.
Overrall the number of grams consumated has continued to increase in regard to hamburgers and fish and chips. The pizza, instead, has found itself in a gradual downfall.
In the first ten years, from 1970 to 1980, both categories of hamburgers and fish and chips had a steady increase; however in 1980 the second one experienced a major boost which made it go from roughly 150 grams to 500 grams in just ten years. On the other hand the consumption of hamburgers suddenly intensified by 200 grams in 1985.
A different pattern, though, is shown for the grams of pizza eaten in Britain through the years. As a matter of fact this category suffered a continous but gently drop across the period going from 1970 to 1985, where, then, it remained constant at 200 grams until 1990.
