Looking from a general perspective, it is readily apparent that the figures of tourists in all nations increased over the time surveyed, except the USA, where there was a steadily decreased after one decade. Nevertheless, the USA has become registered higher visiting number before it continued to decline and overtaking by Malaysia in the last period.
In 1995, the USA had the highest number of tourists visiting at around 70 million, and this figure remained relatively unchanged during the first decade reaching approximately 85 in 2005. After that, it began decline gradually ending the period at above 80 million. France and Malaysia followed a similar trend.
