Overall, there was a downward trend in the employment rate in Industry A and Industry D while Industry B and Industry C experienced two upward trends. Industry A initially recorded the highest employment rate but it was eventually overtaken by Industry C by the end of the period.
Looking at the chart in more detail, the percentage of employees in Industry A started at 50%, after which it experienced a slight decrease to 45% in 2000. Then, it increased to approximately 47% in 2005, before falling steadily to 40% in 2015. Over the next ten years, the figure recovered to 42% in 2020, ending the period at 38% in 2025. As for Industry D, the employment rate was 40% in the initial year, before dropping steadily over the period, reaching 29% in 2025
Turning to the remaining sectors, the proportion of employees in Industry B stood at 30% in 1990. Following this, it rose marginally to 35% in 1995, before falling back to 33% in 2000. Thereafter, the figure climbed to a peak of 39% in 2015, after which it fell to 36% in 2020, ending the period at 38% in 2025. Meanwhile, Industry C started at the lowest point of 20% in 1990. Then, it rose continuously to 34% in 2020, before ending at 33% in the final year.
