The line graph demonstrates the amount of books being borrowed in various months, namely June, July, August as well as September in the year 2014 from libraries in four villages. Moreover, the pie chart illustates the proportion of types of books borrowed over this period.
At first glance, the number of books borrowed increased overtime in all villages except Ryeslip. Furthermore, there is a majority of fiction books borrowed at 43 percent.
Starting with Ryeslip, the amount of books borrowed in Ryeslip drops significantly from 300 to barely 165. On the contrary, West Eaton and Church Mount shows a similar trend, which both rose dramatically from 50 to 150.
In terms of books that were borrowed, there’s a minority of self-help books at the percentage of 10. Which the proportion of fiction books is 4 times more than it, which is 43 percent.
In a nut-shell, fiction books are the most popular catagories among all types. Also, there’s a positive relationships between time and number of people borrowed books.
