The line graph illustrates the proportion of individuals using four different transportation: car, bus, bicycle, and walking in a city between 2000 and 2020.

Overall, there were a dramatic decrease in proportion across car and walking over the two decades, while bus and bicycle experienced a growth in using percentage. Car lost its leading position to bus, which type took the third ranking at the beginning of the 21st century.

In detail, the percentage of people using car saw a twofold decrease throughout the period, from 60% in 2000 to around 30% in 2020. The similar trend was experienced in walking, although to a lesser extent, with the decrease between 20% in 2000 and approximately 5% in 2020.

In contrast, bus and bicycle strongly rose over the surveyed time, from about 15% and near 0% in 2000 to 40% and roughly 25% in 2020, respectively.

The graph has shown the trend in using vehicles in this city, with the increase in environmentally friendly transportation and the sharp decline in gasoline ones..
