The line graph illustrates the proportion of young individuals who remained in secondary education up to the age of 18 across four different countries between 1996 and 2003.
Overall, what stands our from the chart is that there was a general increase in the proportion of students and Norway consistently had the highest rates for both genders.
At the beginning of the period, The percentages of both sexes in Norway started with same percentage(90%) and followed the highest number of the chart(100%) :however , at the end of the given time period female showed just under 100% and male showed dramatic increase and reached approximately 90% .Similarly, the proportion for male and female in the UK had same percentage(65%) in 1996,then both of them increasing to exactly 85% by the end.
Subsequently , the proportions of females in Spain and Italy started from over 60% and increased at over 70%.In contrast, On the males Italy surged by over 10%, while Spain observed negligible increase at under 5%.
