The line graph depicts different levels in the production of three main fuels namely petroleum, coal and natural gas in a European country during 1981 to 2000.
Overall, it can be seen that the production of natural gas experienced an upward trend, whereas coal and petroleum underwent slight fluctuations throughout the given period. Additionally, petroleum predominated with the highest production levels in most of the years.
In 1981, the country produced approximately 100 tonnes of petroleum, which then underwent a slight increase to 130 tonnes in 1985. After that, the figure slightly declined by 40 tonnes in 1991 before experiencing a significant growth and concluding the period with 120 tonnes.
Regarding the other fuel, 80 tonnes of coal were produced in 1998, two times higher than that of natural gas. The production of coal then plummeted to 50 tonnes in 1985 after a first few years of stability. It recovered to 70 tonnes after one year ; , however, the figure then experienced a continuous decline to just under 40 tonnes in 2000. The production of natural gas remained unchanged until 1995, when it underwent a significant increase to 80 tonnes in 2000, being the second highest of the chart.
