The amount of three different fuels produced in a European country from 1981 to 2000 is shown in the line graph.
Overall, fossil fuel production increased after 19 years period starting from 1981. In addition, petroleum refinery was the most production and dominating for the whole period.
Regarding to petroleum and natural gas, the fluctuation of petroleum production which was standing at 100 million tons of oil from 1981 to 1991while natural gas remain unchanged with 40 million tons of oil. In the rest of the year until 2000, petroleum production rose slightly from 100 tons to 120 tons of oil. However, production of natural gas changed significantly from 40 million tons to 100 million tons led to the production gap of both fuels was narrow down from 60 million tons to 40 million tons of oil.
Regarding to coal, coal production unchanged with 80 million tons from 19881 to nearly 1984 and fluctuated to approximately 60 million tons from 1986 to 1991. From 1991 to 2000, the coal production steadily dropped, hitting the lowest point at nearly 40 million tons of oil at the end of the period.
