The map above illustrated the geographical characteristics of a coastal area at the moment and in 1995. For instance, a prominent transition from natural seaside community to modern leisure and residential area was demonstrated.
The eastern part of the map showed contrasting transformation in land use, from similar sizes of farm land and forest park to a single golf course with a tennis court situated at the southern bottom of the golf park. Not far away from the leisure area were four houses lining up next to the road as well as three more across the road back in the nineteenth century. With one additional apartment being built on both side of the street afterwards, an new road perpendicular to the existing street was constructed where two extra apartments had been built. Towards the seashore, the fishing port vanished over time and the fish market had been replaced by four newly built ocean-view houses. Despite all the striking changes as the city developed, the hotel located South from the tennis court along with the cafe opposite to it remained after thirty years of time. Interestingly, the only change in that area was a car park being built at the hotel. Nevertheless, the four houses which were bound by roads on the western part of the map were unaltered.
In summary, the place consisted of old houses as well as new architectures and land use that reflect constant development and improvement of the society.
