The graphics depict the changes of the village in Ryemouth from 1995 to its present state.
Overall, the village has experienced several significant infrastructural renovations over the years. Besides, the development has encroached upon the previously green spaces that existed in 1995.
To begin with, there has been a house constructed on every two sides of the road in the northwest of the maps. Furthermore, two new houses have been erected with an expanded side road, and nearly 4 residential houses arranged around the rectangular road. In the North Eastern layout, the emergence of golf and tennis was at the cost of the disappearing of forest park and the widening in size of the farmland.
Turning to the remaining areas, the shop at the bottom of the housing areas has been demolished to pave the way for the restaurant. There has been a noticeable improvement in transportation options with the car park near the hotel. Opposite this hotel, the cafe has remained the same until now. What’s more, a fishing port has been dismantled in the southern sea, complemented by a knocking down of the fish market. Following this phenomenon, the room has transformed into apartments.
