The given diagrams illustrates the idea for reconstruction of the second floor of a building called Mason’s Building. The rebuilt floor is rectange in shape, same as previous one and consists of master bedroom, laundry, bath, guest room, studio room, studio seating, studio, studio storage and landing

According to the first diagram, kitchen was built at north-east position of the house which is now replaced by master bedroom and laundry is built at the location of third bedroom as shown in the second diagram. in addition to this, guest room and studio storage has occupied space of second bedroom and first bedroom respectively. However, bath is built at the same location. The walls between dining and living are removed to make the place look big and now in the newly built floor dining and living is used as studio seating and studio respectively.

In conclusion, first diagram shows that the floor was previously used for living but reconstructed to use for commercial purpose as shown in second diagram.
