The layout shows the plan for modification of the second floor of Mason’s Building.

Overall, the major reconstruction of the second floor involves removing all bedrooms and converting the kitchen into a master bedroom. The partition between the living and dining rooms is removed to construct a studio along with the seating. On the other hand, there is no reconstruction of the bathroom.

The first bedroom, beside the landing, is now converted to storage for the studio and has a door installed. The plan of the second bedroom remains the same, except the room will be used for guests. The stairs in the landing area have been extended by removing the two doors that opened to the living room.

The kitchen is converted into a master bedroom, and beside the bedroom is the area for laundry. The partition that divides the dining and living rooms has been discarded and is modified to studio seating and studio rooms, respectively. The only room that has not been reconstructed is the bathroom in front of the present laundry area.
