The maps illustrate how the lakeside territory has changed between 2000 and 2009.
Overall the area witnessed noticible changes over the period. The most significant change observed in the size of woodland and lake, which was the reason of expansion of industrial area during the given period.
Firstly, while the residential area in the north remained the same, the second converted into shopping mall, and the third one was completely removed from the area. Derelict warehouse, old town and arts center were transformed into car park, offices and arts center respectively.
While the school area experienced slight fall over the period, the size and shape of the offices area was changed considerably to make room for the new university building.
