The given map depicts modifications that happened in the Lakeside area between 2000 and 2009. It can be seen that a sustainable number of changes have taken place during the given period.
In 2000, there was a colossal zone of wood land that extended from northeast to southeast. The lake was placed in the northeast of this forest. The green area decreased twice and the lake had been transformed into a pond. The river flowed diagonally in 2000, on the left side of it, just under the woodland residential area and an industrial complex were placed. After that, the industrial complex had expanded and in 2009 it occupied the following territory.
At the northwest of the stream the first residential area was located, to the right of it the derelict warehouses and the old town taked palace, in the period of nine years it had been changed to a car park and offices in the triangular shape. To the west the arts centre and the school were placed, just under these buildings, was the second residential area. It was reconstructed to the shopping center, and the arts center was rebuilt to the multi-screen cinema. School remained the same and the university was constructed to the northeast of educational institution.
