Three pictures illustrate the changes to a building’s ground level over a certain period.
Most strikingly,it is clear that the area has experienced significant changes as it will be made in terms of office,apartment,and flower shop.However,the entrance and kitchen still remain throughout the time.
From 1958 to 1984,the entrance was located on the south side of the building.The reception area was next to the manager’s office to the right of the entrance.Beside that,there was a kitchen in the northeast corner opposite the meeting room.Moreover,the accommodation for the assistant and secretary were situated on the south side of the meeting room and the toilet was stood on the left of the entrance.
Between 1985 and 2000,the workplace was converted to an apartment.Eventhough the entryway remain unaltered,the manager’s office and the reception room were demolished and replaced by two new bedrooms.On the other hand,the kitchen still existed in the northeasr.The meeting area and assistant’s office were torn down to make way for enormous living area.Additonally,the new bathroom with shower was rebuild from the toilet.
Finally,from 2001 until the present,the space was constructed into a flower shop.The two bedrooms from the southeast were erected into a flower display area and office.The entrance and the kitchen unchanged in their original locations,while the gift card section to the northwest replaced the living room.Last not but not least,there was another floral display area and a play area on the south side of the gift cards.
