Overall, the renovations indicate a significant development of the museum between 2008 and 2012, both expanding the old spaces and adding new rooms.
Firstly, the shop and the special exhibition room are remained unchanged, while the cloaks room moved on the second floor next to the reception. In 2012 this space was allocated to the children play area. On the second floor both layouts demonstrate the same position of the reading room and reception, although the introduction of the entrance hall in 2012 is to notice.
After redevelopment, the museum has been impressively expanded by inclusion of two additional levels above. The third floor is characterised by a presence of a terrace, a restaurant, and a self-service room, indicating the enhanced infrastructure of the museum. Eventually, the entire last level is dedicated to the exhibition room.
Furthermore, it is notisible a substitution of stairs with an elevator and providing a triangular roof for the building. Beyond the museum was kept the same path like in 2008.
