These maps illustrate how Science Park has changed from 2008 until today.
Overall, different amenities and facilities have been created for visitors who are keen on science since 2008. Notably, there have been several changes to the construction of roads.
Park was quite different from today’s in 2008 in terms of the bigger size of the green area. Woodland and grassland zones were available on almost all sides of the map previously. All buildings were connected to the road that leads to the car park in the center of the map. In the north part of the map, there were two joint buildings for offices and reception. While business units were located westward, in order to manage information technology, visitors had to go down to the south to the IT center and cyber security.
By now, there had been some alternations in this area. The main change is the accessibility of all kinds of transportation by means of bicycle, bus, car and train for reaching buildings that scattered the whole parts of the park. Furthermore, a research and development building was built, which resulted in the disappearance of grassland on the north side. Additionally, where reception stood, there is now a university hub that is located next to offices and northward. Once the car park was downsized, the reverse was true for cyber security. However, IT Center was just renamed to Innovation Center.
