These maps illustrate how Science Park has changed from 2008 till today.
Overall, new amenities and facilities had been created for visitors who are interested in science since 2008. Notably, the road network has been significantly altered.
Park was quite different from today’s in 2008, in terms of a larger green area. Woodland and grassland zones were available almost all sides of the map previously. All buildings were connected by the road that leads to car park in the center of the map. The north part of the map, there were two joint building for offices and reception. While business units was located in westward, in order to manage information technology visitors had to go down to the south to IT centre and Cyber security.
By now, there had been some alternations in this area. The main change is that accessibility of various modes of transportation: by cycle, bus ,car and train- for reaching buildings that scaterred throughout the park. Furthermore, research and development building was built, which resulted in the disappearance of grassland in the north side. Additionally, where reception stood, there is now University hub that is located next to offices and northward. Once car park was downsized, conversely, Cyber security was extented. However, IT center was just renamed to innovation centre.
