The provided illustrations show how the same beachfront has transformed between 1950 and the present day. Overall, the modern beachfront offers a wider range of facilities and significantly improved infrastructure.
In 1950, the area was relatively undeveloped. The road was short and ended at a small car park. Nearby, there was a pavilion, a dining area with tables, and a playground. A 25-meter swimming pool was located on each side of the beachfront, and a lighthouse stood at the far right end of the coastline.
Since then, the area has undergone substantial redevelopment. The road has been extended and now turns right, providing direct access to the lighthouse. While the original car park, pavilion, and dining area have been retained, the playground has been replaced by a second car park. One of the pools, located near the coastline, has doubled in size. One of the most striking changes is the construction of new facilities. A surf club has been built between the enlarged pool and the lighthouse. On the opposite side, another surf club and a modern restaurant have been added next to the left-side pool, enhancing the overall recreational appeal of the beachfront.
