The presented maps illustrate the layout of an Australia benchfront area in 1950 in comparison with the current developed layout.
Overall, the place has undergone several significant changes during the period shown, with the most notable being the expansion of the former road and the introduction of some amenities.
As can be observed from the two maps, the road, which ended with car park in the upper part of the area, has been lengthened surrounding its campus from the north to the south. Along the side of the road, the western playground has been removed in favor of a new car park. The area of dining tables and Pavilion, which was prominently located in the heart along the side of the town, stayed untouched during the same period shown.
Other striking changes include the addition of a new restaurant and surfing club in place of the formerly vacant area in the southwest. Furthermore, a swimming pool has been expanded by two times to 50 meters as opposed to a previous 25-meter swimming pool. Meanwhile, another surfing club has been erected between a innate 25-meter pool and light house.
