The maps depict alterations in the layout of a library from the year 2000 to the present day.
Overall, noticeable changes have been made to the bookstore’s design, particularly on the left side. Numerous areas have been relocated and redesigned, with additional facilities introduced.
In 2000, the fiction section occupied the northwest wall and half of the opposite side, while the central area predominantly housed sections for cooking, hobbies, and art, respectively. In the current setup,, the large fiction bookcase on the left has been partially replaced by these three genres and now only occupies a small area adjacent to the cookery section. A spacious table and chairs now fill the space previously occupied by rows of books.
In the northeast, the non-fiction area, once located in the right corner, has taken over the space formerly allocated to fiction in the upper left corner. Simultaneously,, the previous section reserved for non-fiction books, which sat near the right side of the room from the entrance, has been converted into a cafe. Notably, the arrangement of the service desks, travel, and new book sections has remained consistent throughout the years.
