The pictures illustrate the layout of a bookshop in 2000 and contemporary days. Overall, the store has undergone a number of changes, but the most significant of which are rearrangement of bookshelves with different genres of books and the construction of new facilities for customers.
In 2000, fiction section was located in the left side and opposite the entrance, while the non-fiction occupying the right corner. There were many separated bookshelves, which contain various kinds of books such as hobbies, cookery, art, and travel, dispersed in the center of the room. Near the entrance was a new books display, and service desk in the left corner by entrance.
Currently, arts and cookery bookshelves have been moved to the left-hand side, meaning that the fiction shelf has been lowered its space. Similarly, the non-fiction section also has been integrated with this shelf and its previous site has been replaced by a coffee shop. There also has a table with chairs to allow readers come to enjoy. Finally, the travel bookshelf, new books exhibition, and service desk have remained in their locations.
