Two maps below illustrate the changes in the coal mining before and after the development.
Overall, the purpose of the place was changed mostly for visitors, and there were a lot of visitor attracted infrastructure after the innovation for example picnic area , children play area and the cafe.
Before the development, the entrance underground was for workers. On the opposite side of that entrance, we can see the director board and a car parking next to that on the south side. In the west side of the map, there is an office and a staff changing room connected together, under that is a parking area. There is no use for the right side of the place.
After the development, a new museum has replaced the building of the office and staff changing room. The entrance is now used for visitors. The parking area remained unchanged. The director board and the car parking have been destroyed for a cafe in the center and a small lottery park. Two no-use sectors on the right are now used for a digging driving track and a picnic area with a children play area under that.
