The two maps illustrate future developments in the town of Norbiton. The first image depicts the present industrial area, and the second one shows how it will look after redevelopment.
To begin with, on the northern side of the map, a new housing development will be built on the farmland, and the area will be connected to the roundabout that crosses the river.
Moving south, the town will undergo significant redevelopment. First of all, the roundabout will have four exits instead of the current two, one of which will connect to a newly built smaller roundabout. Moreover, six housing areas will be constructed near the traffic circle. Ultimately, Norbiton will become a more self-sufficient town because a playground, a school, a medical centre, and a range of shops will be added. In addition, the town’s industrial area is planned to be cleared of factories.
Overall, these proposals will transform Norbiton into a livable town.
