The maps show the current state, and the planned future development of the Norbiton industrial area.
Overall, the industrial zone will be changed into residential area, with number new facilities. There will be also a bridge over the river, giving access people to reach their homes.
The area currently consists of several factories alongside road, and the road on the southern part, linking it with town. Whereas the northern part has a river, with farm land across the left side of it.
Following the renovation, only central road will remain the same, with some adjustments, connecting residential area with other side of the river, and with main circle road in the south. The factories will be removed, making a space for new constructions. The result of new constructions, the used area will be enlarged, with building new houses in the east and north. All of the houses and facilities will be built on each side of the middle road, catering for easy access. As the area will house new numerous apartments, people will benefit from shops, medical center, playground, and a school, all located around the houses.
