The layouts compare changes that took place in King’s College over a couple of years (2015 and 2016).
Overall, it is clear that a comparison of the two maps reveals a complete transformation from a largely urban place to an industrial area, with novel facilities being established in the southern part of Askew Road.
In contrast, in the northern part of the map, the car park space has been developed during this period and is located to the east of the main buildings. Meanwhile, the sport center has been transformed; it was converted into sport fields, and instead of it, two sport fields have been built during the entire period. In addition, the space of the park center has been reduced. Likewise, the theatre has been constructed to the north of the three main buildings.
On the other hand, in the southern part of the map, there are more changes than in the north. There are two science blocks, and during this period, one of them has been locked down. Similarly, the second car park space and entrance have been erected to the west of Bartlett Street during these two years.
