Overall, the proposed project includes the construction of A4 highways, the establishment of a new road, and the transformation of the airfield into an industrial estate.
At the present, the A2 highway in Hunderstone is only connected by the city’s sole roundabout to the railway, gas station, and town centre. Furthermore, the only way to reach the airfield is go through the North on the roundabout and coming to the end of the A2. The expected outline would link the end of A2 with the A4 highway, which is located in the south of the gas station. Therefore, creating another route reaching the railway and town centre.
In the outline of future development for this area, there would be another roundabout located next to the gas station and connecting to the East and the West of the town. The airfield would be transformed into an industrial estate. Lastly, the A2 road will connect the another road to the town centre will be built in the East of the town.
