The map illustrates the modification that have taken place in a small town named Islip between present and future. Overall, several infrastructures remain the same and many facilities will be built. However, some of them will be demolished and replaced by others.
To begin with, a new road that encircle the town will be constructed as a dual carriageway while the main road will become pedestrian exclusive and cars will not be allowed to drive through the road. The row of shops located in the north will be obliterated and four new facilities including a bus station, a shopping center and a car park will be constructed instead.
