The maps illustrate the alterations at the seaside resort Templeton during the 1990 and 2005.
Over the past 15 years, the resort witnessed dramatic changes, especially in the increase of residential areas.
Regarding the west part of the map, the houses, located near the lake, have been replaced by the high rise apartment blocks. Besides, tree between two roads has been knocked down and transformed into residential area. Another notable change was under the second road, where was the replacement of houses by the supermarket and apartments. Moreover, there has been erected extra road between the new buildings and railway for the ferry in 2005.
In terms of the resort’s east part, the school and hospital have not been changed over the time. In contrast, trees at the top of map have been demolished and replaced by the plant station and two houses.
In addition, the house and plant, which were at the right of the main road, have been removed. The next an interesting development was at the right corner of the region, where green and residential areas have been transformed into factory.
