The graphic illustration describes the current layout of an industrial area as it in present and how the same area will look in the future after having been developed.
The overview reveals drastic changes in the area, most noticeable being the modifications of its facilities to become a residential place at the expense of industrial facilities, according to the proposed development plan.
Looking at the original state of the area in more detail, it is enclosed by the main roads in all the cardinal directions. In the right-hand side, a packing room is located above a storage, while a factory lies in the full stretch of the left-hand side. In the middle, members of staff can access the area via an entrance along with a reception in the north before entering their offices in the south where there is also a canteen to serve them.
Moving to the future configuration of the area, the packing and the storage will be expected to be converted respectively into two houses with 3 bed rooms and 4 bed rooms. In comparison with the eastern area, the factory will be replaced by a parking area along with apartments for residents. Another outstanding transformation is that the entrance and the reception will be demolished to pave the way for the addition of three separated houses with 2 bed rooms along with communal gardens being added adjacent to these houses. Finally, the removal of all the offices and the canteen will be seen with a view to erecting parking garages.
