The image depicts two maps comparing the current layout of Norbiton industrial area to its planned future development; currently, there is a circular road in the center connecting several rectangular factories to the north, west, and east, with a road extending south towards the town and farmland situated to the northeast; the planned development retains the central circle but introduces a road network with additional connections leading to new structures labeled as housing to the south, a playground to the center right, and new factories adjacent to existing ones; furthermore, a school is positioned southeast, and shops are introduced directly to the southeast of the roundabout, with a careful reorganization of existing roads while keeping the main river and farmland unchanged.

The given maps show the changes that will take place in an industrial park in Norbiton in the future.
It can be clearly seen that the factories, which are located on the south side of the river that crosses the top part of the map from west to east, will be completely transformed into a residential and commercial use zone. A new street and bridge will be made towards the north so that more housing will be constructed on the northern side of the river.
The government is planning to demolish all the industrial buildings around the roundabout in the middle of the map and along the street that leads to the east. Then it will develop shops to the south-west of the roundabout, a medical centre to the south-east and residential areas to the north-west and east. A brand new school will be set up to the east of the map and there will be a playground nearby.
One of the major developments will be constructing the road to cross the river in order to build extra houses on the north side of it reducing the farmland area to the north-east.
