The map displays the layout of Huntingdon currently and the alterations that will be made in the future.
Overall, the town is planned to undergo significant changes, the most notable being the development of traffic infrastructure and the construction of an industrial zone.
As it is now, there exists an intersection of the A14 road that runs across Huntingdon from the northwest to the southeast, and the A1 road that travels from north to south, forming a roundabout on the northwest outskirts of the town. On the northern section of the A1 road, there is a path linking it to an airfield. Meanwhile, the southern part of the A1 connects to Brampton Road, which leads to a ring road around the town centre and a railway station nearby.
One of the many prominent changes that will be implemented in the future is the introduction of another roundabout linking Brampton Road to the A14, which will divide the road into three portions: one that connects the two roundabouts together, and the other two leading to the A1 and the ring road. Additionally, the pre-existing airfield near the A1 road will be demolished in order to make room for a new industrial area.
