Overall, it is clear that the Pacific Railway Station has undergone substantial transformations during the period shown, including the removal of its toilet. Additionally, several facilities have been newly constructed, expanded, or relocated to enhance traffic flow and accessibility for visitors.
Looking at the right side of the maps, it is evident that the four platforms on the east experience no alterations. The café and the ticket office are still located roughly to the south of the old platforms, but the shop that was situated between them has been removed. Furthermore, the ticket office has been expanded and is now much larger than it was in 1998 to accommodate the increasing number of ticket buyers.
Moving to the left side of the station, the toilets, which were previously located in a separate building next to the old platforms, have now been demolished. In addition, three new tracks have recently been established to the west. A restaurant has been constructed between the new and old platforms, and the number of shops has increased, with two shops now situated to the south of the restaurant. Furthermore, a new supermarket has been built to the south of the new platforms to provide travelers with goods to purchase.
