The given two maps provide information about a little town called Islip. One of them shows the current alignment of the town centre, where the other map illustrates the planned development.

The most notable difference between two maps is the dual carriageway constructed around the area. The shops on the south of the main road on the first map remains the same, along with the school. The Park’s location also stays the same, however, there is a change in its size. In the first map, there are two housing spaces. In addition to those two housing, a new living site will be constructed on the west side of the park according to the planned map. Moreover, a bus station, shopping centre, a car park and another housing is being planned be built on the north of the shops, across the pedestrian exclusive road.

By all the observations, it can be concluded that there is a major change in the central area of Islip. The planned development is more organized than its current organization.
