The given two maps are illustrating the evolution of lakeside area from 2000 to2009.it is describing the great difference between both maps.

Overall,the evolution appear with multi changings as residential area, derelict warehouses , woodland , old and new town , centre ,school ,industrial area ,industrial complex , offices , car parking ,, multli screen cinema ,university , pond and shopping centre etc.

In 2000,the lake side was differ as compare to 2009 .the residential area and other buildings on the north side with swquence and there were many residences on the other side of the lake and also the area of lake was big as compare to 2009.the area of woodland was huge as compare to after 9years.

In2009,the lower side of the lake is totally different because the residences had been removed and the industrial complex spread with great area on the other side the upper side of the lake changed with some buildings as arts centre replaced with multi screen cinema old town replaced with university and the lake is covnverted with pond .in short both maps are totally different to each other due to new construction and changing policies.
