The maps demonstrate the transformation of a small village in 1995 and now. The 30-year period saw changes to the road layout, and to the residential and some facilities.
From the first map, we can see that there were two main roads which separated the village into 3 parts. In the northeastern corner, a farmland is sited and a forest park is to the south of the farmland. A hotel was located adjacent to the forest park. Besides, at the roadside there was a residential area. Four houses were surrounded by a ring road next to the housing area. On the southwestern side, several shops was situated at the road side. Fish market was on opposite side of the road. A cafe occupied the southeastern part which was to the north of the sea. In the sea, a fishing port was sited.
Looking at the new map, we can see that the the main change of road layout was the addition of a road next to the ring road. The residential accommodation undergoes further changes with the construction of some houses. A golf course replace the farmland and the forest park is demolished. A tennis court is erected in the south of the golf course. New car park is built adjacent to the hotel. The area of shops is alternated by restaurant. Opposite the restaurant there are apartments which replace the fish market. The fishing port in the sea is knocked down.
Over the period, the area witnessed dramatic changes, including the addition of houses, demolition of some amenity, the construction of road and the transformation of shops and market.
