The maps show the layout of a bookstore in 2000 and at present. Overall, the store has gone through several major changes. Some sections were replaced or relocated, and new facilities were added.
In 2000, the left side of the store was mostly occupied by a large fiction section. Now, this area has been divided into four smaller sections: art, hobbies, cookery, and a smaller fiction area. The back left corner, which also used to contain fiction books, is now used for non-fiction books.
The middle part of the store has also changed. It used to display books on art, hobbies, and cookery, but now there are tables and chairs for customers. The non-fiction section that was located on the right side of the store has been replaced with a café. Meanwhile, the travel books, new books section, and the service desk have remained in their original positions.
