In more detail, the percentage of nuclear power exhibited pronounced increase . In 1990, the figures for nuclear power comprised only 17% , but by 2010 the proportion of this fuel source increased significantly to 67% after 20 years. Whereas the percentage of coal was 28%( the highest percentage on the chart) and figure for oil was 22% , by 2010 , these figures, however, reduced noticeably to the same amount 13% respectively.
In contrast, the percentage disperancy between natural gas and hydro power was pronounced in 1990, but both of them experienced the same downside trend. The figure for the former constituted 28%, being the highest figure on the chart and the latter was at the chart lowest of 6%. By 2010, this disperancy narrowed down, with respective figures of 13% and mere 2%
